Terje shared the stage with Bloodthorn as they laid BLÆST here in Trondheim in ruins on friday 17.02 for the release of their new album! Eternal-Terror.com paid this event a visit and took these pictures.

Welcome to our new website! After over 29.000 hits, the old site was all worn out, and it was definately time to put it to rest. We'll update the news here more often now, and we'll slowly fill out some blanks we haven't done yet (like more pictures, more info on previous gigs, more interviews etc.)! We've got some new downloads for y'all to check out, and we're also working one another clip from the recording of the Death Awaits promo. 20. December: Death Awaits - Recording finished!

Recorded and mixed in just four days, we're now finished with our new promo Death Awaits! It has three new songs and it'll be sent to labels only, but you can check out the song "Scavanger of Dead World" if you go to our Myspace-profile here! We're also planning a split-7" with Bloodthorn in early 2006 where we'll use one of these tracks, but more news about that later.

21. November 2005: Chton announces new drummer!

We're proud to announce that Vegar "Vyl" Larsen, also in Keep of Kalessin, will handle the skinhammering for Chton in the future! He is now our permanent drummer, and has already contributed to the song-writing process. Those of you who saw us in Bergen, Oslo, Kristiansand or Trondheim right after the release of "Chtonian Lifecode" may be familiar with his skills, since he filled in for Vidar all through the autumn of 2004... We have lots of new stuff ready, and we feel it'll be our strongest material ever! Dark, brutal and totally Chtonian Death Fucking Metal!!!

On a different note; we signed to Retribute Records for only one album, and we will not resign with them for our next album. Our plan is to have material for a full new album ready very soon and we're currently on the look-out for a label daring enough to release it...
